Who set your schedule for the first 25 years of your life?
Parents got the first stretch. Then school bells. Then coaches. Then a boss. Somebody always told you where to be and when to be there, and you spent most of those years resenting it.
Then it stops. Nobody's telling you when to get up, or what to eat. Nobody's checking whether you did the work. One day you look around and realize the whole thing is yours to run.
That's sovereignty. It's the opportunity every man says he wants.
And it's the moment most men fumble.
It's why guys stall out for years after graduation. Why men collapse after a divorce. Why retirement takes some men down inside eighteen months. They never learned to govern themselves, so the second nobody's governing them, they go looking for the next master. And they call it discipline.
The good news is that this is not a life sentence. It's a skill gap. Building your own structure is a skill, and it's learnable at any age.
Sovereignty isn't the absence of rules. It's the authority to write your own and the discipline to enforce them on yourself.
