In a few weeks the buses run again. The alarm goes off earlier. The house shifts from summer drift back into schedule.
Watch what happens next. The school sets the morning. The coach sets the evening. The screen sets everything in between. Your family's rhythm gets built for them by institutions with no interest in your quality of life.
That's the default when the man of the house has no rhythm of his own to hand down.
You cannot lead your family into a structure you don't personally live in. Kids don't inherit your intentions. They inherit your patterns. What time you get up. Whether you eat sitting down or standing over the sink. Whether the phone comes to the table.
So before the grind sets back in, decide. What are the three things that happen in this house no matter what? Dinner at a set time. Lights out at a set time. One morning a week dedicated to something of value to you.
Three is a solid start. Three non-negotiables will do more for your household than a hundred good intentions.
Set them this week, before the calendar fills and you're just reacting. A man who runs his house on rhythm isn't controlling his family. He's giving them ground to stand on.
