Acknowledge reality, embrace possibility, and cultivate positivity.
What kind of coach would ignore your weaknesses and over-inflate your ego? Or spend 10 minutes recounting your mistakes and telling you how worthless you are?
Is your self-talk an asset or a liability? The reality is, it’s probably somewhere in the middle. The key is to recognize the power of your inner voice, and commit to guiding it with the same care and respect you would offer to someone you are coaching.
