Every man is different. Some men are intense and need to learn how to pull back on the reigns. Others are passive and need to learn how to crack the whip. My guest today, former Navy SEAL and French Foreign Legionnaire is a man who more closely resonates with the former but understands the implications of both.
Today, Taylor and I talk about how and why men self-sabotage themselves, the importance of internal vs. external validation, how a “Battle Rhythm” helps a man maximize his performance, why success doesn’t “flash,” it “glows,” and why every man is searching for inner peace and clarity.
Taylor Cavanaugh is the only person in history to have served both as a U.S. Navy SEAL and a French Foreign Legionnaire. After growing up in challenging circumstances and landing in jail, Taylor found purpose through the grueling rigors of BUD/S training, earning his place among the elite SEAL teams. However, following a military discharge and another stint in prison, he hit rock bottom—homeless and suicidal.
But he reinvented himself immigrating to France to join the Foreign Legion. There, through relentless training and mental toughness, he rebuilt his life.
Now, Taylor is on a mission. As a coach, speaker, and podcast guest, he empowers others to align body, mind, and life through what he calls “deliberate living.” With his mantra—“training the body and mind for the divine design”—he guides individuals from chaos to clarity and from survival to thriving purpose.
Taylor and I have talked about the concept of a “battle rhythm” in this podcast but do you understand the concept of a Battle Plan? If not, you need to get familiar – because life isn’t easy and life isn’t something you can handle if you’re not prepared for battle.
That battle could be a divorce, layoff, loss of job, loss of loved one(s), bankruptcy, alienation from your kids, etc., etc. (raise your hand if you’ve ever dealt with any of these). And, if that’s the case, let me help you get equipped to deal with whatever life has to throw at you.
It's called, the “Battle Ready” program. It’s free. And, it’s a stand-alone course. You don’t need to buy anything – you just need to be ready to do work. And, if you don’t, good news, neither of us have invested any reasonable amount of time in each other.
But, I don’t think that’s going to happen. I think you’re going to go through the free program and ask yourself, “What’s next?” (I’ll answer that question later). For now, enroll in our free program, at www.orderofman.com/battleready.
Free tools, tactics and techniques to help you be the man you were meant to be.
