I think everyone knows that that we are all judged, to some degree, by our appearance and how we present ourselves. You don’t have to like it and you don’t have to think it’s fair but it’s the truth. And, yet, so many of us (myself included) overlook the importance our physical aesthetic when it comes to presenting ourselves well.
My guest today is long-time friend, repeat guest, and men’s style coach, Tanner Guzy. Today, Tanner and I talk about utilizing clothing as an extension of you, the Aesthetic Overton Window and how it impacts what we wear, why you need to avoid being one-dimensional in the way you present yourself, why dressing well isn’t at all about suits and skinny jeans, and, ultimately, how you can garner influence by improving your presence.

As I previously mentioned, Tanner Guzy is my guest today. He is an author and men’s style coach but the depth of what he offers goes well beyond the clothes his clients wear. In fact, clothing is a small part of the work he does as I know from personal experience that he, more accurately, helps men build more confidence to tackle their most pressing goals and objectives.
Tanner and I met years ago. He’s a deep thinker. He’s someone I highly respect. He’s been on the podcast before and welcomed as a guest speaker into the Iron Council on multiple occasions and he will, beyond a shadow of a doubt, get you to think differently about the way you look and why it’s important.
