ROB O’NEILL and DAKOTA MEYER | Master Life’s Toughest Battles

As a man, you are asked to shoulder not only your own burdens but often times the weight of others’ (wife, children, friends and family, and neighbors). It can be a daunting task but worth making yourself capable enough to do it with honor.

Today, I’m joined by two of the most decorated and recognized US military veterans, Rob O’Neill and Dakota Meyer to talk about what it takes to master your toughest battles. We talk about harnessing the gift of our strengths, why there can be no accountability in your life without conflict, what it means to have true integrity, the de-humanization of war and what it’s like to deal with the aftermath, and how to build a lasting legacy.

I’m sure that you immediately recognize my two guests today, Rob O’Neill and Dakota Meyer. They’re two of the most recognizable military members and have been very public about their time in service and the circumstances they each found themselves in.

Rob is a retired Navy SEAL and was the man to kill the world’s most wanted man, Osama bin Laden. Dakota is the first living Marine to receive the Medal of Honor since the Vietnam War.

dakota meyerBut they are much more than those two experiences as they are both highly sought-after public speakers, advocates for veterans, and very vocal (which makes them both very polarizing) about current events both at home and abroad. They are also the authors of The Way Forward: Master Life’s Toughest Battles and Create Your Lasting Legacy.
