PAUL ROSOLIE | Guard What You Love, Or You’ll Lose It

HOME > PODCAST ARCHIVE

What does it mean to truly protect something you love? And, what are you willing to sacrifice to do it? Today’s guest has gone farther into the wild than most people ever will, not for thrill or ego, but to defend one of the most threatened ecosystems on Earth. From the depths of the Amazon rainforest to the front lines of conservation, this is a conversation about courage, responsibility, and confronting fear head-on.

My guest today is Paul Rosolie, a renowned explorer, conservationist, and storyteller whose life’s work is rooted in protecting the Amazon and the creatures that inhabit it. We talk about what the jungle teaches you about yourself, the modern war on nature, and his powerful new book Junglekeeper, which challenges us to stop outsourcing responsibility and start defending what matters, personally and globally.

PAUL ROSOLIE

Paul Rosolie is a wildlife conservationist, author, and explorer best known for his immersive work in the Amazon rainforest. As the co-founder of Junglekeepers, Paul has spent years living deep in the jungle, working to protect endangered land and species from illegal logging, poaching, and exploitation. His approach to conservation is raw, direct, and personal - grounded in the belief that real protection requires presence, sacrifice, and moral clarity.

His latest book, Junglekeeper, is part memoir, part call to arms. In it, Paul shares harrowing experiences from the rainforest while confronting a deeper question: what kind of men are we becoming in a world that consumes more than it protects? Junglekeeper isn’t just about saving the Amazon - it’s about reclaiming responsibility, embracing hardship, and choosing to stand guard over the things that cannot defend themselves.

THE MEN’S FORGE

The Men’s Forge is not just another event — it’s a crucible for men ready to step out of distraction, comfort, and passive living to build strength, purpose, and unshakeable conviction. Over this transformative weekend, men gather to sharpen one another through hard conversations, intentional connection, and frameworks that turn good intentions into real commitments. This isn’t about surface-level motivation; it’s about confronting the realities of responsibility, leadership, and legacy with clarity, courage, and actionable discipline. This year’s Forge is amplified by the presence of Dewayne Noel, a leader whose life reflects the resilience, accountability, and integrity the Forge champions. Dewayne brings a powerful voice rooted in lived experience - teaching men how to wrestle with pain, own their story, and transform struggle into strength. Men should attend the Forge not to escape their challenges but to confront them - to forge deeper brotherhood, strengthen their capacity to lead at home and in the world, and walk away with a clearer sense of what it means to be a man worth following.
