Too many men are wandering around aimlessly through life doing just enough in their existence to make it through one more day. That’s part of the reason I founded Order of Man and bring in incredible men like my guest today, Cody Jefferson. Cody is on a mission to help men find their purpose and live a life they’re called to live.
Today, Cody and I talk about why so many men feel they’re always behind and never enough, the pressures a man faces daily and how to relieve them correctly, the source of joy and peace in a man’s life, how your body will tell you a lot about your attitude and efforts in life, why men should focus on who they are, not what they do, and so much more.
Cody Jefferson is a father, entrepreneur, life and business coach, and former pastor whose journey of transformation began after facing a public divorce, losing eight family members in a year, and suffering a life-threatening septic episode in late 2016. Following 13 years in pastoral ministry—during which he often sacrificed his own well-being for his church—he committed to rebuilding his life by focusing on health, purpose, and identity beyond his role as a “fixer.”
Today, Cody is the founder of Embrace the Lion and the SCALE Method, helping thousands of high-achieving men, business leaders, and entrepreneurs align thriving careers with fulfilling relationships, spiritual health, and emotional well-being A nationally recognized keynote speaker and trusted advisor, he combines faith-based leadership with performance strategy to help others scale without sacrificing what matters most.
The Iron Council is a brotherhood of strong, driven men committed to mastering themselves, leading with integrity, and living with purpose. Built by Order of Man, the Iron Council offers structured challenges, powerful conversations, and a proven framework for growth across every area of a man’s life—whether it’s in his relationships, health, career, or mindset. Inside, men don’t just talk about improvement—they put it into practice, shoulder to shoulder with other men on the same mission.
Accountability is the backbone of the Iron Council. Without it, good intentions fade, excuses creep in, and progress stalls. But when a man is held to a standard by those he respects, he rises. Accountability sharpens discipline, exposes blind spots, and ensures action—not just talk. In a world that encourages comfort and isolation, accountability is what calls a man forward into strength, responsibility, and results.
