BRANDON TATUM | Two Sides to Every Story

Most of us, when formulating an opinion or perspective about a cultural issue tend to look at one side of the story – myself included. But if we have any chance of making societal and cultural changes that actually improve our way of life, it’s crucial that we look at what we see from all sides.

That’s what my guest today, Brandon Tatum, and I talk about – seeing problems from all angles and waiting for all the information before formulating opinions. We cover the Kyle Rittenhouse and Ahmaud Arbery cases, the dangers of the “Defund the Police” movement and what, if any reform in policing is needed, whether or not systemic racism actually exists, our emotions and our responses to them, use of force laws, and so much more.

Brandon Tatum

My guest today is a repeat guest, Mr. Brandon Tatum.

We had him on earlier in July and since there was so much positive feedback, I knew I wanted to have him back on the podcast for round 2. Especially considering he just released his first book, Beaten Black and Blue: Being a Black Cop in an America Under Siege.

He is a former All-American athlete and a top NFL prospect with the University of Arizona. After going undrafted in the NFL (we talk a bit about why), he set his sight on becoming a police officer and gradually making his way into the political commentary arena and is now featured on some of the top news outlets in the world.

He is the CEO of 3 companies, the co-founder of BLEXIT, and an incredible voice for conservative values and principles. He also talks openly about his conversion to Christianity and is never one to shy away from issues important to him and his views regarding culture and society.

Iron Council

Gentlemen, I’m stoked to share with you that tomorrow, December 1st, the Iron Council will officially be open for registration.

We won’t be opening it again until sometime in the spring so, if you’ve been on the fence about joining our exclusive brotherhood, now is the time to join.

In the month of December, we’re going to be working you into the programs, getting you familiarized with the tools and resources available, and introducing you to the 900+ members of the Iron Council so that you can hit the ground running in 2022.

You don’t have to go at this alone. In fact, you shouldn’t. But it can be a challenge to find the kind of men you actually want to band with. But you’re going to find a powerful and successful brotherhood inside the Iron Council. So, make sure you register quickly before we shut down registration for the year.
