In popular culture, it’s increasingly frowned upon to utter the phrases, “man up,” or “be a man.” It’s easy to misconstrue what those terms mean and convenient to dismiss them as some sort of misguided sense of masculinity. Without context, anything can be painted as negative or “toxic.” With context, however, we can see how powerful those statements can be.
My guest and friend, Bedros Keuilian, is back on the podcast to dissect what those phrases mean and teach us how we can incorporate solid principles in our lives and in the lives of the young men looking to us for an example. We talk about the value of harvesting your own provisions, why brutally honest feedback is crucial to your success, losing and regaining your sense of purpose, and our responsibility to the generations of men who will follow in our footsteps.

Gentlemen, I have been looking forward to having Bedros Keuilian join us again on the podcast. I met Bedros years ago and I’m honored to call him a mentor and friend.
I was fortunate enough to have him invite me to speak at one of his programs a couple of weeks ago and, although you may know him for founding and running one of the largest fitness franchises in the world, you may not know about his programs for men and for young men.
These are transformation events and I’m honored to have played just a very small part in what this incredible man is doing in the lives of the men and young men who attend his events.
Bedros is an author, entrepreneur, speaker, podcast host of Empire Podcast, and an absolutely incredible man, friend, and mentor.

I’m a huge believer that the way you tee yourself up for the day will determine your results for the day. And, as you compound enough of those powerful days together, you will undoubtedly win.
That said, there are a lot of men (you might be one of them) who don’t know how to craft the day from the minute they wake up to the minute their heads hit the pillow at night for maximum productivity and efficiency.
That’s why, for the month of February, we’re talking about this exact topic inside our exclusive brotherhood, the Iron Council. We’re going to be talking about starting the day right, tools and systems for eliminating distractions, recapping your day so you don’t lose momentum each night, and so much more.
So, if you want the tools, systems, and accountability to make each day your best and, more importantly, create the success that follows, join us inside the Iron Council at www.orderofman.com/ironcouncil.
