I've sat across from thousands of men now. In the Iron Council. At The Forge. On calls just like the one happening tonight.

And there's one sentence I hear more than any other. It comes up so often it's almost funny, except it's not.

"I thought about this for years. I don't know why it took me so long."

Years.

Read that again. These are good men. Sharp men. Men who do hard things every single day.

And they sat on this one for years.

And the marriage got a little colder. The edge got a little duller. The man in the mirror got a little harder to look at.
