I think most of us would agree that society is increasingly moving toward towards the “entitled mentality.” Everywhere we turn people gripe about what they want, why they’re entitled to it, and why, “life isn’t fair.”

My guest today takes exception with that mentality and, has proven throughout his life that, despite his challenges, is willing to purse and earn what he desires. His name is Darren Woodson. He’s a former NFL football player, ESPN Analyst, and successful real estate investor. Today, Darren and I talk about establishing a healthy identity, re-inventing yourself, resisting the victimhood mentality, the joy found in giving, hubris and humility, and a whole lot more.

My guest today is the one and only Darren Woodson. Darren is a former NFL football player with three Superbowl Championships and five Pro-Bowl selections, an ESPN Analyst, and an extremely successful real estate broker and investor.

He’s taken his decades of experience in sports and applied the lessons learned into becoming successful across all fronts of his life – not just the field. And, with his success has made it his mission to serve those who are less fortunate than others through the non-profit, C5 Texas.

Darren is one of the most genuine people that I know. I always enjoy my conversations with him. You will too!
