YOU’RE NOT STUCK.
YOU’RE SCARED.
I spoke with an older man at an event earlier this year. Late seventies. Decent career, raised a family, and by any measure did alright.
I asked him what he’d do differently. He didn’t mention a single thing he’d tried and failed. Every regret was something he never did.
The skill he never learned.
The business he didn’t start.
The things he never said to loved ones.
And every one of them had a "good reason" at the time.
Fear doesn’t take your life all at once. It takes it one reasonable decision at a time.
