No Risk, No Reward | TREVOR THOMPSON

Risk is something everyone is exposed to whether you're simply driving to work or jumping out of airplanes and off rocks, like my guest, Trevor Thompson does.

And, with as much exposure to risk and the inherent dangers that come with it we expose ourselves to, you'd think we'd spend more time considering the risks we're taking and how to mitigate more of it. Today, we talk about objectively evaluating readiness, learning to respect dangerous activities, how to increase and improve focus in risky situations, and how to limit risk and maximize reward.

Trevor Thompson

Trevor ThompsonGentlemen, my guest today is Trevor Thompson.

He is a former Navy SEAL and self-proclaimed "experience junkie" (not to be confused with an adrenalin junkie).

He is a skydiving, base jumping adventurer. And, as I was visiting with my friend, Jack Carr, Trevor stopped by for a spur of the moment conversation and I thought talking about the risks he takes in his life and how he's learned to overcome fear and reduce exposure would be a perfect conversation to share with you.
"The decisions people make when base jumping is what keeps them alive or kills them." Tweet That
Legacy

If you've been listening for any amount of time, you know that I believe it's no surprise that our boys are facing an uphill battle. In fact, if you look at the statistics, you can clearly see that boys are falling behind on some very serious and alarming metrics from academics, to depression and suicide, drug abuse, violence, criminal activity, college rates, and income to name a few.

If you're a father of a boy between the ages of 8-15, we want to equip you with the tools you'll need to usher your son into manhood. And, that's exactly what we're doing at our second Legacy Experience on April 11th-14th, 2019.

All you have to do is get to Las Vegas with your son and we'll take care of the rest from food and transportation to an array of physical, mental, and emotional challenges all designed to push and test both of you, forge deeper connections, and help your son go from boy to man.

If you want to learn more and lock in your seat, head to www.orderofman.com/legacy.
